We stayed in Kara Tunga guest house for three night. The rooms were lovely and clean and the food was the best we had in weeks! Hats off to Ivan the best cook in the country 🙂We went on three trips, one nature walk one visit to the village and one visit to the Kral. we had the most wild exprience we could imagine. thank you for allowing us to discover the Karamoja people. We could of not done it alone. Thomas was an excellent guide and Paul really did a great job making sure we plan the best trip. Thank you everyone!
Thanks again! Tamar and Yarden, Your favorite Israelis 🙂
Last week with we where taken on a field study tour to the Karamoja region. I have been to this region so many times but this visit was a unique one and a great eye opener.
Trekking Uganda’s Mount Kadam with Kenya-based Dutch primatologist Yvonne A. de Jong and American conservationist and ecologist Thomas M. Butynski have had an interest for what lies within the forgotten corners of Uganda’s Karamoja sub-region and bordering Kenya’s Turkana and West-Pokot counties.
For the fourth time I have visited the beautiful land of the Karamoja, with its beautiful people. For the second time I joined the Tour of Karamoja, the 7-day cycling trip through the hills and valleys in Uganda and Kenya.
One year ago, Robin and Simon were one of our first guest that traveled to the remote northeast to Discover Karamoja with us. A few months ago we received the joyful news that Robin decided to visit us again and bring her father and his partner as well… even though they only had 2 days in total.
