“It’s a tough one to pick the favourite activity. Hiking mount Moroto was an incredible experience! The vegetation, birds, meeting young cattle keepers with their herds, the cave that shield cattles during raining seasons…total immersion ! The cheery on the cake was swimming in one of the spring river/pond !
Meeting the Karamojong community in the evening was a great way to wind up the day. Thanks to Lokutae (our amazing tour guide) we could communicate with the people, grinding the sorghum, our children playing with their fellows, and the energetic fun dancing under the sunset was divine!” – Read more testimonials on our website.
Moroto visit doesn’t disappoint – Hiking and sundowning in the mountain is a unique way of learning about the peoples of northeastern Uganda, from its highlands to the vast plains below.
Ever since I have travelled to Uganda I’ve visited many places already. But Karamoja is different, in a good way, from all the places I’ve been to. A region rich of beautiful nature, beautiful people and a lot of cattle and goats.
A motorcycle tour through Karamoja is a truly off-the-beaten-path adventure on an authentic way. Although riding Boda Boda through the rough terrain is not for the fainted hearted, its’ an amazing way to discover a region that’s often ignored by most travellers.
