Karamoja Tourism Academy & Inclusive Tourist Trail
Until recently, Karamoja was not very accessible. Safety and security has returned, infrastructure is improving, power and water is been connected and roads are been constructed. You can see the signs, new hotels are been built, tourist arrivals are visibly increasing…there is the opportunity for a new economic development that can help the local people to a better future.
But the local people are not prepared and tourist are not informed. The Warrior Nomad Trail is an initiative of Kara-Tunga to bridge this gap through skilling, product development, marketing and communication. Learn more.
