It was an eyeopening experience for both the participants and the facilitators, hiking the two highest mountain ranges (Mt Kadam and Mt Moroto) in Karamojaland.
We agreed to continue to build the capacity of the hiking guides in the region, seek for opportunities of exposure visits and to improve the current trail-networks and safety measures.
This opportunity was made possible through the Adventure Tourism Uganda initiative and is part of the Karamoja regional Warrior Nomad Trail initiative for tourism promotion and development.
