So energised after finally meeting Giorgio Andrian together with Catholic Diocese Moroto who are spearheading the designation process of Matheniko Wildlife Reserve and Mount Moroto into UNESCO Man and Biosphere Reserve.
This international recognition will help to reinforce community-led development, sustainable mining practices and conservation of these cultural and environmental important areas for future generations.
The team recognised Kara-Tunga, Karamoja Tours and our initiatives as key-players in the landscape and I’m looking forward to support the initiative with Kara-Tunga Foundation.
