The Warrior Nomad Trail
The Warrior Nomad Trail, is a thrilling journey traversing Uganda’s Karamoja sub-region and Kenya’s West-Pokot and Turkana Counties. It takes you from the southern grasslands, along the East African Rift, to Worlds’ largest desert Lake Turkana, into the award-winning Kidepo Valley National Park.
The Trail promotes exploring the least travelled areas for a rewarding untamed outdoor adventure, authentic cultural experience and positive impact on the host community and environment.
Multi-disciplinary adventure
The Warrior Nomad Trail is a multi-disciplinary cross-border tourist trail, originating from Uganda’s least travelled Karamoja sub-region. The trail reunites the people living across Northern Kenya, South Sudan and Southwest Ethiopia. Visitors can choose to drive a 4WD vehicle, ride a bicycle or motorbike, walk or hike and even take a boat over some sections.
