Recycling Green Waste into Compost – Moroto is located in one of Uganda’s hard to reach areas and most of fresh foods are imported from distant towns.
The German NGO called GIZ supported us through an exposure visit and practical training on how to grow foods and best practice to recycle green waste into compost.
The potential of tourism in Uganda is enormous. The ‘Pearl of Africa’ is famous for its gorilla’s and chimpanzees, but has much more to offer. The active tourist can go hiking, mountaineering and mountain biking. The cultural tourist will be amazed by the numerous local traditions, customs, arts & crafts.
We had the privilege to have connected with the Belgium trainer in Connecting / Non-Violent Communication called Marijke D’Herde (Walk Your Talk). Marijke has a great passion in sharing the knowledge and resources she receives in the North (Western world) in order to share it with the South (Africa).
