Early April 2018 we hosted we had the pleasure to host the renown Belgium outdoor travel journalist ‘Jonathan Vandevoorde’ in northeast Uganda aimed at producing several publications in Belgium-Dutch newspapers and magazines.
A team of Ugandan content makers travelled to northeastern Uganda and asked Kara-Tunga to host them in Karamoja sub-region and give them an authentic taste of Karimojong culture.
The potential of tourism in Uganda is enormous. The ‘Pearl of Africa’ is famous for its gorilla’s and chimpanzees, but has much more to offer. The active tourist can go hiking, mountaineering and mountain biking. The cultural tourist will be amazed by the numerous local traditions, customs, arts & crafts.
