What are we looking for?
Registered tourism businesses (hotels, lodges, CBOs, tour operators, activity providers) in Northeastern Uganda.
Determination among owners and managers to enhance the employability of their staff through skills training.
Ambitions to embrace environmentally sustainable practices and to empower female staff.
Commitment of the owners and managers to actively participate in the entire project (2 years), starting with a co-creation session on June 13, 2023 in Moroto.
Willingness to sign a partnership agreement.
What are we offering?
Influence on the training topics through interactive co-creation sessions.
Hands-on training for selected staff members in specialised skills enhancing their employability (2-3 days per topic).
Opportunity to be trained by and network wit h sector experts.
Certificate of participation for business partners and training participants.
Free access to all Ukarimu training materials that can be used to train other staff.
Transport refunds for attendance of meetings and training sessions.
