  1. Kara-Tunga is a must stop if wanting to experience Karamoja.Theo and Florence make you feel at home and can connect you to cultural and outdoor activities but you can also enjoy a muzungu cold beer and the flair they add to local cuisine. I arrived solo ready for the tour de Karamoja. I’ve lived in Karamoja for over a year but have not had an experience like this one. I instantly made connections, the ride was amazing, bike gear and camping year was easily rented, the guides were truly knowledgeable and we were well catered for, I’ll definitely be back to Kara-Tunga next time in Moroto.

  2. The initial Tour of Karamoja was simply outstanding and a must for anyone who wants an incredible experience. The overnight visit to the castle Krall and the time spent with the Karamojong and the Turkana people was a once in al lifetime experience. Best bike ride I have even been on and I’ll be back for next years event.
