The Warrior Nomad Trail
The Warrior Nomad Trail, is a thrilling journey traversing Uganda’s Karamoja sub-region and Kenya’s West-Pokot and Turkana Counties. It takes you from the southern grasslands, along the East African Rift, to Worlds’ largest desert Lake Turkana, into the award-winning Kidepo Valley National Park.
The Trail promotes exploring the least travelled areas for a rewarding untamed outdoor adventure, authentic cultural experience and positive impact on the host community and environment.
Multi-disciplinary adventure
The Warrior Nomad Trail is a multi-disciplinary cross-border tourist trail, originating from Uganda’s least travelled Karamoja sub-region. The trail reunites the people living across Northern Kenya, South Sudan and Southwest Ethiopia. Visitors can choose to drive a 4WD vehicle, ride a bicycle or motorbike, fly with a small aeroplane, walk or hike and even take a boat over some sections.

The newly launched Warrior Nomad Trail Pass includes useful information and travel tips. The pass costs 100,000 UGX or 30 USD and can be in Uganda at strategically located partners from the Airport up to Karamoja.
