It’s an absolute milestone for the Karamoja Tourism Academy to host one of Uganda’s most famous travel journalist and marketeers ‘Charlotte Beauvoisin’ (Diary of a Muzungu) for the first time in Karamoja sub-region.
Charlotte is facilitating a 4-day digital marketing introduction training for local tourism startups to strengthen the capacity of stakeholders along the Warrior Nomad Trail to build a competitive regional tourism sector.
Karamoja regional tourism and hospitality stakeholders celebrate the launch of ‘Karamoja Tourism and Hospitality Association’, aimed at a community-led and sustainable tourism sector in the Karamoja sub-region of northern Uganda.
The 25 young women and men are coming from allover the region and have developed 25 new tourist products! They also learned about pricing, marketing, guiding and other practical adventure and community tourism skills.
