This is one of the best Tribe Tours in Africa I’ve had. I’ve visited the Masai in Kenya, 4 tribes in Ethiopia’s Omo Valley and in Uganda the Karimojong and Tepeth, with this tour Kara-Tunga Tours.
The Karamoja Boda Boda Tour was the best experience I had for a very reasonable cost. The Kara-Tunga Tours guides are knowledgeable about Karamoja and explain in detail.
Trust me – I have been to Ethiopia’s Omo Valley – which is overrated and very costly. Visit the tribes of Uganda’s Karamoja sub-region with Kara-Tunga Tours for a very good experience with the tribes… authentic and natural.
I visited many homesteads during my Karamoja tour and you find the community undisturbed living their normal traditional life. They don’t see tourist as business, the community is friendly everywhere when you’re with the guides.
It looks like Kenya’s Masai and the tribes in Ethiopia’s Omo Valley are doing tourism pure for business, but the tribes of Karamoja in Uganda are so pure.
I highly recommended to visit Karamoja with Kara-Tunga Tours. Also don’t miss the gold mining tour that I took with Kara-Tunga’s guide Emma and safe Boda Boda rider Michael. Peter took me on the first day to the Karamojong.
Visit Karamoja with Kara-Tunga Tours, It is worth it.
