Anke (The Netherlands): Although the lonely planet only mentions it in a small “off the beaten track” paragraph this region is definitely worth a visit! Beautiful area with beautiful people. We stayed at the camping site of Kara-Tunga guesthouse. It’s a really relaxed environment with friendly staff and good food. They also offer great tours.I can highly recommend staying a night with the shepherds in the Kraal. Overall, great experience!
Kyra (The Netherlands): Thanks to Theo (and the guides) we made a wonderful trip to Karamoja! The highlight for me was sleeping under millions of stars in the kraal. The guesthouse provides all the comfort you need with very tasty food. If you want to get to know the real Karamoja, definitely go with Kara-Tunga!
